Privacy Policy
This page explains what happens to your information when you use Personal Code — plainly, and without the usual legal padding.
The short version
Your name and date of birth are used only inside your own browser, in real time, to calculate your reading. They are not sent to, or stored on, any Personal Code server or database. We don't have an account system, and we don't build a profile on you.
What we collect, and why
- Name and date of birth — entered on the reading form, used instantly in your browser to calculate your numbers. This never leaves your device as part of using the reading tool itself.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Paystack on their own secure payment page. Personal Code never sees or stores your card details, and only receives a payment status (success/failure), an amount, and a currency, in order to verify your purchase.
- Email address, if you request a PDF copy — the "Email me a PDF copy" option opens your own email app with a pre-filled message to us. That message (including your name and birthdate, since we need them to prepare the PDF) is sent from your own email account to ours, the same as writing to us directly. We keep it only as long as needed to send your PDF, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
- We don't use your birthdate or reading results for anything beyond generating your reading and, if requested, your PDF.
- We don't use tracking cookies or third-party analytics that build an advertising profile on you.
Third parties involved
Paystack processes payments on our behalf and has its own privacy policy governing the payment information it collects directly from you. We encourage you to review it if you have questions about payment data specifically.
Children's privacy
Personal Code is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
Since we don't store your reading data on our end, there's typically nothing to request deletion of beyond an email you sent us for PDF fulfillment. To ask about that, or with any other privacy question, contact us at the email listed on our order confirmations.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
